President Ruth Jeng, along with thirteen PEACH staff and volunteers, inspected the performance of projects in Dali, Yangbi, and Lijiang, Yunnan province, for two weeks. 9/30/2005 ?Ruth Jeng spoke to a group of students at Notre Dame High school about the PEACH Foundation. 9/17/2005 ? Ruth Jeng introduced the PEACH Foundation at the Chinese Moon Festival in Cupertino Memorial Park. 08/4/2005 ? PEACH sponsored a week-long "love journey" for orphans. Nineteen PEACH students came to Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan. PEACH staff took them to the Stone Forest, several parks, a Kunming bookstore, a supermarket, and a few universities. They also went to the movies. All PEACH kids had a good time and returned, safe and satisfied, to their schools on August 10th. 07/23/2005 ? Ruth Jeng, along with about ten teachers and PEACH staff, held a summer camp for PEACH students in Yanyuan. 07/13-20/2005 ? The PEACH Foundation, in collaboration with the Yins Foundation, held a teacher training course for 150 teachers in Yuanyang. 07/4/2005 ? Ruth Jeng, along with eleven teachers and PEACH staff, held a summer camp for PEACH students in Yuanyang and Lvchun. 04/4/2005 ? The PEACH Office in Mainland China Peach was established in Kunming. 03/21/2005 ? Ruth Jeng and 13 volunteers went on a twelve-day inspection visit to Yuanyang and Lvchun. 03/12/2005 ? Ruth Jeng presented PEACH at the annual meeting of the Pu-Ti Association at 1269 Forgewood Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94089. 01/9/2005 ? The PEACH Foundation held a member reunion in Hsinchu. 01/8/2005 ? The PEACH Foundation held a member reunion in Taipei. Ruth Jeng presented a progress report to members. |
