China Project - Libraries


The PEACH Foundation currently maintains 947 libraries in schools located in HongHe, YuanYang, LvChun, LuShui, FuGong, GongShan, NingLang, YuLong, HuiZe, MoJiang, LuDian and QiaoJia counties of Yunnan Province.

These libraries serve as a window to the outside world for the children living in these remote regions.

We also hope to provide the children an opportunity to seek new knowledge and experiences to enrich their lives in the future.

The following are highlights of our library program:

? March 2020 ? 509 Books were provided to No.1 High School of Qiaojia ,Yunnan Province.

? April 2019 ? 5520 Books were provided to 97 primary schools in the areas listed above.

? January 2019 ? 500 Books were provided to No.1 High School of Ludian ,Yunnan Province.

? February 2018 ? Books were provided to 55 primary schools in the areas listed above.

? February 2017 ? Books were provided to 83 primary schools in the areas listed above.

? December 2015 ? Books were provided to 90 primary schools in the areas listed above.

? February 2015 ? Books were provided to 54 primary schools in the areas listed above.

? May 2014 ? Books were provided to 150 primary schools in the areas listed above.

? December 2013 ? Books were provided to 85 primary schools in the areas listed above.

? December 2012 ? Books were provided to 60 primary schools in the areas listed above.

? December 2011 ? 5600 books were provided to 56 primary schools in the areas listed above.

? December 2010 ? Books were provided to 151 primary schools in the areas listed above.

? December 2009 ? Books were provided to 268 primary schools in the areas listed above.

? December 2008 ? Books were provided to 280 primary schools in the areas listed above.

? December 2007 ? Books were provided to 417 primary schools in the areas listed above.

? October 2007 ? About 2000 Books were provided to 3 primary schools in HsinChu, Taiwan.

? December 2006 ? Books were provided to 144 primary schools in the areas listed above.

? In 2004, The PEACH Foundation volunteers donated 10,000 books to schools at TaiAn village in YuLong County.
