About Cambodia
Peach Foundation
Cambodia is a country of sixteen million people. There are over 200 thousand sex workers, of which, one third are children. The child sex trade is an abysmal social issue. The children who fall into the trade are in hellish conditions. It is beyond our means to help them all. Nevertheless, we can still make a difference in other ways.
At Phnom Penh, there is a Pleroma Home for Girls(PHG) operated by the FiCF (Fullness in Christ Fellowship). FiCF provides shelter to sexually abused girls, aged 9-17. They were victims of family members or neighbors. The girls were sent to PHG by government agencies. Peach has agreed to help these girls to continue their education through college, or professional schools of their choices.
Peach committed to provide scholarships to these girls starting October, 2022. Each girl will receive $300 USD per year toward their education. Peach will also provide free-interest loans for study in colleges.
